MHCCV is here to help residents, advocates, housing providers, and decision-makers with the highest quality information about preserving manufactured home communities.

2020 Symposium: Some Assembly Required

In 2020, MHCCV hosted a virtual symposium that brought together practitioners, policy experts, and advocates to learn about the challenges faced by manufactured home residents—and best practices to overcome them. Esther Sullivan, author of Manufactured Insecurity, gave the keynote.

All of the recordings and presentation materials remain accessible. Click the link below to find videos from each session, along with information about every presenter featured.

Central Virginia Study

In 2016, MHCCV and project:HOMES commissioned a report to provide, for the first time, a complete assessment of the existing conditions of mobile home parks in the Central Virginia region. The research includes analysis of the demographic trends and socioeconomic status for households in mobile homes, as well as a detailed quality survey of more than 50 mobile home parks across the region.
